Welcome in the scents of spring (minus the sneezing!)
Spring is here! Well almost - we’ve had a couple of nice warm days last week in Melbourne, but were bundled into woolen coats again over the weekend!
Nonetheless! We are thrilled to see that signs of Spring are popping up everywhere, most noticeably in the delicate spring buds on trees. But if you’re like me and you’re trying to avoid pollen and hayfever, a soy candle burning indoors can nicely simulate the fresh clean smells of Spring, without the itchy eyes and sneezing!
Some of our popular Spring fragrances include Garden Path (think beautifully fragrant English floral garden), Himalayan Bamboo (fresh and green), Green Tea & Lemongrass (clean and fresh) and the ever popular Sweet Pea & Vanilla.
To celebrate the arrival of Spring we’re also introducing a beautiful new fragrance, ALPINE WATERS. It is described as a refreshing fragrance of ozonic, lime, pineapple and melon with mid notes of cinnamon, sheer white floral and cucumber with a light musk base. This is a beautifully fresh fragrance which will lift your spirits and put a ‘spring’ in your step! I’m envisioning ‘Sound of Music’ scenes when I picture this fragrance!

North Melbourne Market this Sunday 18 August
We are thrilled to have a stall again at the North Melbourne Market this coming Sunday. If you haven’t been to this market yet (and you live local in Melbourne) its well worth a visit for its quality handmade wares. There is usually a wide variety of artsy home wares, beautiful jewelry, gorgeous clothes and knitwear, and yummy treats like our friends from Chocolette Patisserie who does the most AH-MAH-ZING scrumptious macarons!! Oh, and of course, beautiful handmade soy candles in enticing fragrances from us - Shadow Moon Creations!
We are currently prepping a whole lot of candles for the weekend (the house smells absolutely divine!), so if you are in the neighbourhood, pop by on Sunday and come experience a ‘smell extravaganza’ at our stall!
